GLOBAL SECURE WEB - ABUSE PREVENTION AND RESPONSE POLICY Effective Date: August 19, 2026 Global Secure Web is committed to maintaining a secure and safe internet environment. We provide security, DDoS mitigation, and WAF services designed to protect our customers' backend infrastructure. We do not host the actual websites or applications utilizing our Services; we act only as a pass-through pre-shield layer. This policy outlines how we handle abuse complaints and legal notices in compliance with applicable European Union frameworks, including the Digital Services Act (DSA). 1. ABUSE REPORTING PROCEDURES To report abuse or illegal content originating from a domain or IP address protected by Global Secure Web, please submit a detailed report via our abuse contact form or email us directly at abuse@globalsecureweb.com. To ensure a valid review and comply with EU notice-and-action requirements (such as Article 16 of the Digital Services Act), notices must include: - A sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is considered illegal or abusive. - The specific IP address, URL, or domain name involved. - Clear evidence or documentation of the abuse. - The electronic contact details of the reporter. 2. HOW WE HANDLE ABUSE REPORTS Upon receipt of a valid and verified abuse report, Global Secure Web will take the following actions: 2.1. Verification We conduct an internal technical investigation to verify that the reported activity is traversing our network and constitutes a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy (ToS) or applicable EU and national laws. 2.2. Forwarding to Origin Host Because we act purely as a shield filter and do not host the content, Global Secure Web will forward the substantiated abuse report to the upstream Hosting Provider responsible for the customer’s origin infrastructure. We may also notify the Global Secure Web customer associated with the service. 3. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION If the abuse persists and the upstream Hosting Provider fails to take action within a reasonable timeframe, or if required by valid legal processes under EU law, Global Secure Web may disclose limited technical information to the verified reporter, such as the identity of the upstream Hosting Provider Organization. The customer's origin IP address remains protected behind our shield unless compelled by a binding judicial or administrative order. 4. EDGE SUSPENSION (FINAL STEP) If no action is taken by the customer or the upstream provider, and Global Secure Web verifies through subsequent investigation that severe, actionable, or unlawful abuse is actively occurring, we reserve the right as a final step to suspend or drop-route the customer's host directly on our edge network. This terminates our shielding services for the offending asset to protect the integrity of our platform. 5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Global Secure Web acts as an intermediary network service provider and pre-shield infrastructure. We do not create, control, or possess the content transmitted through our network by our customers. By using or accessing our Services, or by submitting an abuse report, you expressly acknowledge and agree that: - Global Secure Web is not responsible or liable for the content, data, or actions of its customers. - Our forwarding of reports to upstream providers or enforcement on our edge constitutes a good-faith effort to maintain network safety. - Global Secure Web shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever resulting from third-party abuse or the actions, inactions, or suspensions carried out under this policy. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory updates.
